In a Fan Magazine, the members of The Cure were asked, among other things, what was their favorite guitar chord to play. Almost all of the band, including Robert, said "E-minor". I wonder if it's their favorite chord because they like the low moody sound that "E-minor" makes or because it's the easiest guitar chord to play (two strings).

Yesterday I drove 300 kms to Canberra to see my first Cure concert...words cannot describe the ecstacy I experienced when I heard 'The Drowning Man', me a Goth who has progressed from black eye makeup and bird's nest hair to emerge as a 35 year old Policeman who stood in awe, with tears falling down my cheeks.... Life is good, I have found The Cure in my Faith. Just needed to let someone know...

I cried the first time I heard Pictures Of You and it has since remained my most favorite song in the whole world. Tom "CureMeNow"

I really do wish I could understand what Robert says between songs at his concerts. But I'm afraid that because of a combination of his heavy British accent and the echo in the arenas, I can only understand about one third of what he says. Even when I play the tapes back, over and over again, I still can't make out what's being said. I know I'm not the only one that has trouble understanding what he says. Babblegirl2

As an avid Cure fan, I would just like to say thank you to all of you who have posted your comments on the web. I have seen the Cure four times, in Europe as well as in America and I have seen their following diminish with every show. It breaks my heart because their music has played such a big part in my life. It is comforting, however, to know that there are others out there who feel the way I do and who know them to be the most talented, most fascinating band of the 20th Century. Jennifer Hayward

To be able to weave such surrealism into the tapestries of an alternate dimension proves an infinite talent for maintaining the passion of childhood.
